Over two nights American’s gathered around the TV to watch NBC’s 2020 Presidential Primary Democratic Debates. While many in large cities and democratic strong holds praised progressivism those in the debates the Tennessee College Republican Executive Committee had this say about the debate.

“They laid out their cards for everyone to see. Over the past two democratic debates, candidates demonstrated  their commitment to impossible policy proposals and their distance from the average American taxpayer. They demonstrated how the democratic party is deeply divided on a number of key issues: from dismantling private health insurance, to raising taxes on the middle class, to trying to erase college debt from the books, to providing benefits to those who break our laws, and to disregard the sanctity of life. Feasibility, innovation, and responsibility with regards to policy-making have all left the building.”

“That’s the platform of the Democratic Party heading into the 2020 election. There are real solutions to these issues, and conservatives will be the ones who will lead the way. It’s time for the Democratic party, who veers closer to socialism day after day, to learn a timeless lesson: come back to reality.”
