In response to Fancy Nancy’s statement, if the President had any “clarity of purpose,” the Taliban wouldn’t be in any position to act, except the occasional minor disruption. Also, they do know the “world is watching its actions,” that’s exactly what they want, it’s called “Radical Islamic Terrorism,” not, “I hope we don’t upset anyone’ism.”

If you were truly “concerned about reports regarding the Taliban’s brutal treatment of all Afghans, especially women and girls,” then you would have called for a halt to Biden’s idiotic withdrawal. A haphazard shortsighted or non-sighted withdrawal that has left numerous Afghans in jeopardy, and essentially bequeathed to the Taliban countless pieces of operational military hardware, that we abruptly up and left in the country.
Note: I’m not suggesting we shouldn’t leave, but there are far better ways to go about it than this, one such plan was on the table during the Trump Administration. Albeit, it wasn’t perfect, it was certainly many magnitudes better than what’s been undertaken.
Also, the U.S., was doing what was needed “to protect women and girls from inhumane treatment by the Taliban,” and as far as an “Afghan government,” it has basically dissolved, and no other nation in the “international community” is going to touch this disaster.
The Speaker even had the audacity to say, “As we strive to assist them, we must recognize that their voices are important and respect their culture.” How idiotic, we’ve been assisting them for the past two decades, also, if she cared about assisting the Afghan people, she wouldn’t be supporting such a poorly planned and executed withdrawal.
Another headscratcher is, when she talks about, respecting their voices and culture. Does she think they care about the 21st century American “woke” B.S. the left has been peddling!? To say the Taliban’s culture is “stone age,” would do the stone age a disservice. There’s nothing to respect unless she’s suggesting she respects the Afghan people’s culture, and if so, then why doesn’t she respect the culture of fellow Americans?
Additionally, she says that “Congress shares the President’s concern for Afghans who have assisted U.S. efforts in the country.” If this were remotely true, they would have gotten them out of the country, this is an afterthought comment, it’s meaningless, a throwaway platitude. Speaking of platitudes, the final sentence reads, “Most of all, we join the President in acknowledging the sacrifices of our men and women in uniform and their families.” I can see her saying this with her usual scowl, then laughing, as she plots her next bogus statement.
