Tennessee Republicans have a super majority in our state legislator, but that doesn’t always mean smooth sailing. The Republican party has many fractures in it and this means that conservatism isn’t always the universal language.

2017 marked the passing of the largest tax cuts in our nation’s and state’s history. Great news for conservatism and for the people of TN. This win also comes with some people asking the question of why this took so long? Republicans are supposed to believe in lower taxes and limited government. Has this changed, or does it now only live with those who are true conservatives?

We have to examine our members and stay proactive. We need representation that goes beyond the Republican party lines, but rather reflects our conservative ideals.
